Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany, is a country in central Europe. With 81.8 million inhabitants Germany is the most populous member state of the European Union. Germany is a federal parliamentary republic of sixteen states. The capital and largest city is Berlin, but nearly every part of the country is worth visiting. When you visit Germany please pay special attention to the following:

Tübingen is a university town in the south of Germany. Tübingen has nearly 88,000 inhabitants whereof 25,000 are students. The average age of Tübingen’s inhabitants is the lowest in all of Germany. The river which traverses the town is called “Neckar”. Tübingen has a beautiful historical center with many bars and restaurants. The town’s landmark is the nice old castle. Tübingen is near Stuttgart, which has an airport and many possibilities for shopping. Tübingen and its surroundings are worth a visit!
